Gracifresh Dairy Products Private Limited is a bit of a mouthful of a name for what we do here in Chemmurlapalli. We are spread out across those 1 to 7 wards in the Kothapeta area. The main spot is at 1/20 near Chintakunta Pedda Subbarayudu. It is a real rural setup, which is what you expect for a dairy business. We have the cows to look after and the milk to handle every single day of the week. There is no such thing as a day off when you have animals involved. The smell of the hay and the sound of the cans clinking is just part of the background noise for us now. The roads around Chemmurlapalli aren't the best, so getting the milk out can be a bit of a bumpy ride sometimes. We have some local guys who help with the milking and the cleaning of the sheds. It's hard work and your hands get calloused pretty fast. The sun beats down on the yard and we just try to find some shade when we can. We keep the equipment as clean as we can, but it is a farm environment, so there is always some dirt around. Our address is a little confusing on paper but if you are in the village, everyone knows where the dairy is. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure the cows stay healthy.
