If you head down Road No. 2 in Kothapet, you’ll find us at 9-85/3 in Laxmi Nagar Colony. Apex Digitals isn't a massive tech hub. It’s a local shop where we handle digital stuff like prints and documents. The printer is almost always running and the hum of the machines is the background noise of our lives. We get a lot of students and office workers coming in from the Saroornagar area. Some mornings there’s a line out the door before we’ve even had a chance to open up properly. We try to move fast but sometimes the internet is slow or a file won't open and things get backed up. We don't have fancy uniforms or a front desk person who just sits there. Everyone here works the machines and talks to the customers. It gets loud and sometimes it’s hard to hear people over the noise of the street outside. We keep plenty of paper in stock and try to make sure we don't run out of ink on a Friday afternoon. It’s a basic business and we keep it that way. We just provide what the neighborhood needs without making it complicated. Most people just want their stuff done so they can get on with their day and we understand that completely. It's a lot of repetitive work but seeing the shop full of life is good.
