Paprika Spices

Paprika Spices is based over at 2704 in Aruvithura, which is part of Erattupetta. This town has always been home to many of us who work here. We didn't pick this location for any strategic reason other than the fact that it was available and close to where we live. Most of the work happens in a small space that we’ve modified over the years. It used to be a different kind of shop before we took it over. We did most of the painting ourselves, though if you look closely at the corners, you can tell we aren't professional painters. It is a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we make it work. Erattupetta is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, so we try to keep our heads down and just do our work. There are days when the weather is so nice we just leave the front door open, and other days when the rain is so loud on the tin roof we can't even hear each other talk. We don't try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a local group trying to handle things the right way. No one here wears a suit. We wear clothes we don't mind getting a bit dirty. That is the reality of it. We are just glad to have a place here in the community.
