Srt Agro Science is based in Bhadrachalam at 26/10, Bhupathi Rao Colony. It is a residential kind of area, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main market streets. We have set up our office and work space here to be close to the community while still having enough room to do our agro-science work. Bhadrachalam has a certain feel to it because of the river and the temple, and that local atmosphere carries over into how we run things. We spend a lot of time looking at samples and writing down observations in our journals. It is a mix of indoor office work and heading out to the nearby fields to see how things are growing. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a dedicated group of people who care about how crops are doing in this climate. The humidity can be a bit much sometimes, but you just drink more water and keep going. Our desks are usually piled high with folders and small jars of soil or seeds. We like the fact that people can just knock on our door in the colony if they have a question. It makes the work feel more connected to the ground. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just focus on doing our work correctly and letting the results speak for themselves.
