Dnb & Sons is located right at Jhanda Chowk in Kotdwara, which is in the Pauri district. We are very close to the local Marriage Hall, so things can get pretty loud and festive around here during the wedding season. You can often hear the music and see the processions passing by from our front door. Our shop is just a basic building on the chowk. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. Jhanda Chowk is always a hub of activity, with people catching buses or meeting up with friends. We keep our place simple. There are no fancy decorations or corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and us. We do our work every day without much fuss. Sometimes the rain in Pauri makes things a bit muddy around the entrance, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We know most of the people who walk by every day. It’s that kind of place. We don't really have a big plan for the future, we just want to keep the shop open and serve the people who come in. Being near the marriage hall means we see a lot of happy faces, which is a nice part of the job. If you’re ever in Kotdwara, just head to the chowk and you’ll see us right there in the middle of it all.
