Blue Jay Granites

We are located near Kota Bommali, which is a bit out of the way for some people, but it’s where we like to be. The area around here is quiet and gives us plenty of room to spread out. Blue Jay Granites isn't a fancy name we picked for a reason, it just sounded okay when we started. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking the weather because if it rains too hard, moving the stone becomes a real mess. We’ve got piles of rough blocks and stacks of finished slabs all over the place. Most of our visitors are people from around the district who are building a house and want to see the stone in person before they buy it. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. You just walk around the yard with us, and we point out what’s available. Sometimes we have to move three other slabs just to get to the one someone wants to see, which takes a lot of time. The crane is old and makes a lot of noise, but it gets the job done. We don't spend money on fancy uniforms or shiny signs. Most of our money goes back into the machines and the trucks. It’s a tough business, and the dust is constant, but we’ve been doing this near Kota Bommali for years now. We just take it one day at a time and deal with whatever challenges come up.
