Vinod Stone Industries

We spend most of our time at E-508(B) on Road No. 6. It is a busy part of the I.P.I.A area with trucks moving in and out all day. Vinod Stone Industries is not a fancy place with a big lobby. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We have been here for a good number of years now. Some days the stone dust gets everywhere and covers everything in the yard, but that is just how it is when you work in this line. We handle the orders as they come in from different builders. If someone needs a specific size or a certain finish, we go through what we have in stock. It is mostly just hard work and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly so nothing breaks on the way. There is not much to say other than we try to keep our yard organized. My nephew helps out with the paperwork and some of the phone calls sometimes. Most of the time, you will find us out back checking the slabs or talking to the workers. We have seen a lot of changes on this road since we started. Other shops come and go, but we stay busy with our own tasks. We do not have a big office, just a small desk and a few chairs for when people stop by to discuss their projects. It gets loud because of the machinery nearby, but we are used to it. We just focus on getting the current jobs finished.
