Vardhman Namkeen'S is located on the Gumanpura Main Road, right in the heart of the shopping district. If you’ve walked down this road, you’ve probably seen us. It’s a very busy street with cars and bikes everywhere, so it’s always a bit chaotic outside. Inside, we focus on our namkeen. We have been making these snacks for a long time, following the same way we always have. I spend a lot of time checking the quality of the ingredients because if the flour or oil isn't good, the taste won't be right. We get a lot of shoppers who take a break from their errands to buy a packet of something salty. My family has been in this business for years, and it’s something we take seriously even if we don't make a big deal about it. The shop is filled with bags and containers of different mixtures. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. In the evenings, it gets really crowded and we have to work fast to keep the line moving. We don't have any fancy marketing or slogans. We just sell what we make and hope people like it enough to come back next week. Gumanpura is a tough place to run a business because of the competition, but we just stick to what we know and keep the shop open every day.
