Vaishli Kirana Store

We are over at 4M30 Mahavir Nagar Extension on Subash Marg here in Kota. It’s a kirana store, so we have all the stuff you’d expect for a kitchen. Rice, dals, oils, and spices. I’ve been running this place for a bit and it keeps me very busy. Kota is known for many things, but for us, it’s just home. Our street, Subash Marg, gets quite a bit of foot traffic. People are always heading somewhere, but they stop in when they realize they ran out of something at home. The store is filled with sacks of grain and jars of sweets for the kids. I try to keep the prices fair because I know my customers personally. They are my neighbors. It’s not a fancy supermarket with bright lights. It’s a bit dim inside sometimes, and the floor is concrete. But it’s real. We work hard to keep the stock fresh. I wake up early to get things ready before the first customer arrives. Sometimes my wife helps me out with the accounts in the evening. It’s a family effort to keep Vaishli Kirana Store going. If you live in Mahavir Nagar Ext, you probably know where we are. We are just a simple shop trying to do a good job for the local people. No big fuss, just daily groceries. We also keep a few cold bottles of water in a small fridge near the counter for the heat.
