D-125 Thermal Colony is where we do our daily work. It’s a bit tucked away, which is nice because it’s not as loud as the main industrial zones. Most of the people around here are connected to the thermal power station in one way or another. Our place is basically a workshop and a small office space. We deal with various metal components and engineering parts. You’ll usually hear the sound of someone grinding metal or the hum of the machines if you walk by. It’s a practical setup, nothing fancy at all. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and there’s always a bit of grease on the door handles. We have a small team of guys who know their way around the equipment. We don't really have a reception area for visitors, just a few chairs near the main desk. Most of our day is spent looking at technical drawings or checking the dimensions of a finished part. The tea stall just down the road is our main hangout during the breaks. Sometimes the logistics can be a bit tricky because the colony roads weren't really meant for big delivery trucks, but we manage to get things in and out. It’s a steady routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We just focus on getting the orders done correctly so they can be shipped out to whoever needs them next. It is just basic engineering work for local needs.
