We are located at Talwandi 5-A-2, which is a pretty busy spot during the day. Most of the time, the rooms are full of students who are trying to get through their syllabus. It is not a fancy setup, just some desks, chairs, and whiteboards where we go over the lessons. The street outside can get a bit loud with traffic, but once the door is shut, everyone just focuses on the books. We spend a lot of our time checking notebooks and explaining the same things over again until it clicks for them. It is a lot of work being here every day, but it feels right when you see someone finally understand a tough problem. We have been in this part of Talwandi for a while, so most people around here know where we are. Usually, the morning starts with us cleaning up the chalk dust or fixing the markers before the first batch arrives. Some days are long, especially when exams are coming up and the kids stay back later than usual. We don’t have any big goals; we just show up at 5-A-2 and get through the day’s lessons. There is always a lot of tea being drunk in the breaks while we talk about how the students are doing. It is a simple place where we just focus on the teaching part and don’t worry too much about anything else. We see many faces come and go, and we just try to help them learn.
