Tara & Lovely Anukul Point

The name Tara & Lovely Anukul Point has been on our sign for quite a while now. We are right there at Nayapura Circle on Khai Road. Kota is a place that never really stops moving, and our shop is part of that. It is a bit of a mix of things inside. We have different items stacked up and it’s not always the neatest place you’ll ever see. Some mornings the delivery guy drops off crates and we have to move everything around just to make a path to the counter. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting boxes. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people who come in are just walking by or they live in the nearby lanes. The counter is wooden and a bit worn out from years of coins and bags being slid across it. We have a small fan that makes a clicking noise in the corner, but it helps when the Kota sun gets too hot in May. We just sell stuff that people use every day. There isn’t much to say about it other than we are here every morning by nine. Sometimes we run out of change and have to ask the neighbor shop for some coins. It’s a friendly enough street. We know when the kids are coming home from school because they stop for small snacks. It’s just our little spot in the city where we spend our hours.
