We’ve been here at number 10 in the Industrial Area for quite a while now. It’s mostly just us getting through the work day and making sure things are done how they should be. Tanwar Rajput & Co. isn’t some massive place with glass walls; it’s more about the actual work happening on the floor. Most mornings start with a bit of a rush as the trucks pull in. You get used to the sounds of the machinery and the talk among the staff. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. If something needs fixing, we just get to it. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially when it’s too hot in the sheds, but we keep moving. Being in this part of the city means we’re surrounded by other workshops, so there’s always people moving around and noise from next door. Our space is filled with the tools and materials we need every day. It’s not always perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. People come by, ask for what they need, and we try to get it sorted without making it a big deal. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for years, and they know the routine better than anyone. It is a straightforward way of doing things. We stay busy with the orders and keep an eye on what’s coming in next week. That is how life goes here at the shop.
