Super Sweets Center

If you are coming off a train at Kota Junction, you will see us right there on Station Road. This area is always moving and there is a lot of black smoke from the buses and autos. Our sweets center is a place where people usually stop when they are in a big hurry to catch a ride. We have a lot of cardboard boxes stacked up because people want to take a bit of Kota back home with them. The display cases are always being opened and closed so they get a bit smudged with fingerprints. We try to keep things clean but it is hard with all the dust from the station road. We start very early in the morning, sometimes at four, because the first trains start arriving then. The tea stall next door is always loud and we share the same sidewalk. Our benches are made of wood and are quite worn out from thousands of people sitting on them for ten minutes at a time. We don't have time for much talk because the customers are always looking at their watches. I usually have a radio playing in the background to keep me company when the rush dies down for an hour in the afternoon. It is a busy life and the noise of the trains whistling is something we don't even notice anymore. We just keep filling the trays with fresh sweets.
