Sun Shine Music Academy Events

In Indira Vihar, D-79 is where you will find us most days of the week. It is an old house that we have sort of taken over and turned into our own workspace. Because it is Sun Shine Music Academy Events, there is usually someone practicing something in one of the back rooms. You might hear a piano from upstairs and someone trying to learn the guitar in the main hall at the same time. It is a bit chaotic, but it works for us. The walls have posters from events we did years ago, and some of them are starting to peel at the edges. We have a lot of cables and speakers sitting in the corners, and it is a constant battle to keep them from getting tangled up. The floor in the main room is wood, and it creaks whenever someone walks across it. Most of our days are spent on the phone or on old laptops, trying to figure out schedules and venues. We have a small kitchen where the sink always has a few coffee mugs waiting to be washed. Indira Vihar is a residential neighborhood, so we have to keep the volume down after a certain hour so the neighbors do not get annoyed. The front garden is mostly just overgrown bushes now because nobody has time to prune them. It is a lived-in space that feels more like a home than a business.
