Our office is right near the Hanuman Temple in Balapura, which is in the Kunhadi area of Kota. Hemendra Singh Hada started this, and we’ve been working out of this spot for quite some time now. Being in Rajasthan, the heat can get pretty intense during the summer months, which makes site visits a bit of a struggle for the crew. We do a lot of construction work, mostly small to medium projects that keep the guys moving from one place to another. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of dust, cement, and talking to suppliers about why the sand hasn't arrived on time. We aren't some big corporate firm with offices in every major city. It’s just a local operation where we know the people we work with every day. Sometimes things go wrong, a machine breaks down or the rain slows us down, and we just have to figure it out as we go along. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and checking the measurements twice because nobody wants to redo a wall once it’s already up. The neighborhood around the temple is pretty quiet, which is nice when we need to focus on the accounting books. It’s just honest work, building things that stay up. We don't talk much about goals or visions, we just try to get the current project finished so we can start the next one.
