Stones First

At Stones First, we’ve got our yard at No. 727 in Mahaveer Nagar First, which is part of the Ranpur Industrial Area in Kota. It’s a standard industrial setup where everyone around us is doing something with stone or manufacturing. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the routine is pretty much the same every morning. We get the loaders warmed up and start checking the inventory. The industrial area can be a pretty rough-and-tumble place with all the heavy machinery and the constant flow of trucks, but it’s where the work is. Our space at No. 727 is mostly filled with slabs that we’ve brought in from various quarries. We don't have a fancy office to sit in; we’re usually out on the floor or in the yard itself. The heat in Kota can be something else, especially when it reflects off the white marble, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We see all kinds of people, from big contractors to a guy just needing a few pieces for a small bathroom. We don’t treat anyone differently; we just show them what we have on the stacks. It’s a simple business model based on having the stone ready when someone needs it. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest, just a reliable spot in Ranpur where people can find what they’re looking for without any fuss.
