Stone India

You will find us at F-197 in the Indraprastha Industrial Area. It is a wide-open space with lots of other units around us doing similar things. Stone India has been operating from this warehouse for a long time now. The name sounds big, but we are just a regular group of workers. We spend most of our time out in the yard where the slabs are kept. It gets really hot out there during the summer months. We deal with lots of different types of Indian stone. Big trucks come in and out all day long, bringing in raw blocks or taking away finished slabs. It is a lot of physical work, loading and unloading. We do not have a fancy front office with air conditioning. We mostly just sit in a small room with a fan and some ledgers. Our clothes are usually covered in stone dust by the end of the shift. We are not trying to impress anyone with big words or polished talk. If you need stone, we have it. We show people what is in the crates and let them decide. We have seen many businesses come and go in Indraprastha, but we just keep doing our thing. It is a noisy, dusty life, but it is what we know. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the trucks are loaded right. That is enough to keep us busy.
