Our place at Stone Craft International is located right across from the airport on Jhalwar Road. It’s a busy area, especially with Fatehpuria Motors nearby. We’ve been at A-13 for a good while now. Working with stone is a dirty and loud job, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a big, polished office. Most of our time is spent out in the yard where the slabs are kept. You can hear the planes taking off and the trucks passing by all day. We handle different kinds of stone pieces for people who are building or renovating. Sometimes people just walk in because they saw our sign while driving to the airport. We don’t do much advertising. We just show people what’s available in the back. My cousin helps me out with the heavy lifting and the paperwork. It’s a simple setup. When someone needs marble or granite, we go through the stacks together. The weather gets really hot out here, but the stone stays cool to the touch. We try to get the orders loaded up without any cracks or chips. It’s just steady work that keeps us busy from the morning until the sun goes down. We aren't trying to be fancy; we just want to get the stone delivered to the right people.
