Srijan Education

Srijan Education is located over at Chhabra R K Puram, number 1263. It’s a place where we help out with different educational needs for students in the area. I’ve lived in this area for years, so setting up here felt like the right thing to do. The address 1263 is easy enough to find once you are in the RK Puram neighborhood and know your way around. We have a few rooms where we sit down and go over lessons together. It isn’t a very big space, but we make it work for the number of people who come by. Most days, it is just me and a couple of others helping out. We don’t have a website or any fancy marketing; we just talk to the people who live nearby and they tell their friends. It’s a very local thing. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every day while we are working on the lessons. It feels more like a community center than a formal school sometimes, which I think the kids like. We keep the books on the shelves and the chairs are a bit old and mismatched, but they are comfortable for sitting for a few hours. When people come to Chhabra R K Puram looking for us, they usually find us pretty quickly because we've been here for a bit. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for the students to show up. It is a quiet life, mostly focused on the books.
