Bansal Perfumery

Bansal Perfumery is Shop Number 44 in Ghuman Pura. We are quite close to Sindhi Colony. If you walk by, you can usually smell the shop before you see it. We sell all kinds of scents, attars, and incense. It is a small shop, mostly lined with glass bottles of all sizes. Some are big plastic jugs and others are tiny little vials. We spend a lot of time mixing things or pouring oils for customers. It is a bit of a sticky job sometimes. My father started this place, and I have been here since I was a kid. The area is always busy with people going to the market. We have regular customers who have been coming for the same scent for twenty years. Sometimes they bring in an empty bottle and ask us to match it. We do our best. It is not a high-tech process. We just use our noses and what we know about the oils. The shop can get pretty crowded on festival days because everyone wants to buy incense or gifts. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We sit on our stools, drink tea, and wait for the next person to come in. It is a quiet life for the most part, even with all the noise of Ghuman Pura right outside the door. We just like what we do and stay here until evening comes.
