If you go down to Plot No. 9-G-8 near the border of Jawahar Nagar and Mahaveer Nagar, that is where you will find us. We spend our days working on gas chulhas and stoves that have seen better days. Usually, people bring them in when the flame is acting up or a knob gets stuck. It’s a messy job, honestly. My hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or soot by the end of the afternoon. We have stacks of burners, pipes, and regulators all over the place. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to find the exact part for an older model, but we usually have something that works in the back. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can get the work done. Many of the local residents know us because they bring their cooktops here for a cleaning or a quick fix instead of buying a whole new one. It makes sense to just repair things. We also keep some of the basic supplies if you just need a new rubber tube. The area around here is always active, so there’s never a dull moment. We started this because people always need their kitchen stuff working. It’s not glamorous work, but it feels okay to see someone take a working stove back home to cook dinner.
