Shriram Polytech

Our place is on Udyog Marg in the Shriram Nagar area, over by DCM. It is mostly an industrial kind of spot, so there is always some noise from the trucks and the machines nearby. We work with plastics and poly materials here. The floor is usually covered in some kind of scraps or dust, but that is just part of the job. It is not a clean office job where you wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, moving things around or checking the inventory. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the news, but other days we are running behind and trying to catch up on orders. The building is older, and you can hear the rain hitting the tin roof pretty loud. We have a few machines that have been with us for years, they are a bit temperamental but we know how to fix them when they stop. It’s just a small operation. We don't have a fancy reception desk; you just walk in and find someone in the back working on the cutters. We do what we do, and we have been doing it this way for a long time. People around Shriram Nagar know us as the guys who handle the polytech stuff. It’s a simple life, and we don't mind the noise or the heavy lifting too much. It just feels like home to us now.
