Shridhar Provision Store

Our shop is tucked away in the New Cloth Market area of Jahawar Colony. It is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside the door with traders and customers. We sell the usual household items, like bags of flour, oil, and different kinds of spices that people need for their daily cooking. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to restock the shelves and clean up the floor a bit. The market can get quite loud with all the people moving around, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. It is mostly local families who come in to pick up what they forgot to buy earlier in the week. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure everything is in its place and the customers get what they need. Sometimes we run out of a particular brand of tea or soap, but we usually get more in within a few days from the suppliers. The space is tight, but we make it work. It feels good to know the people who walk through the door by their names. We just keep things simple and try to be useful to the folks living around Jahawar Colony. It’s a basic life, but we like the routine of opening up.
