Shri Amrita Ayurved Hospital

Shri Amrita Ayurved Hospital is located over at No. 1-E-7 in Sukharia Nagar. Most people around here just know the building by sight because it has been there for quite a while now. The air inside usually smells like dried herbs and different types of medicated oils. It is a scent that you get used to after a few minutes, though it is quite strong when you first step in from the street. We spend a lot of our time in the back rooms preparing various pastes or sorting through the deliveries that come in. The building itself is not anything flashy, just a practical space with stone floors that stay relatively cool even when the Rajasthan heat is hitting the Sukharia Nagar area pretty hard. We have a few rooms for people to stay in and the furniture is mostly wooden and basic. There is always some noise from the street, but once the heavy doors are shut, it gets quiet enough to work. Our daily routine involves a lot of cleaning and making sure the jars are all labeled right. It is a busy place but things move at a slower pace than the modern hospitals in the city center. Most of the staff live nearby so we are all familiar with the local shopkeepers. We just focus on keeping the place running and making sure there is enough oil and medicine for everyone who shows up in the morning.
