Shree Ram Namkeen Sweets

Shree Ram Namkeen Sweets is our little shop located on Station Road right near Kota Junction. It is a very lively part of town to be in. We spend most of our hours in the back part of the shop, where we fry up various types of namkeen and prepare different sweets. The smell of the hot oil and the spices usually fills the air around our entrance. We opened this place because we wanted to have something of our own. The shop is often crowded with bags and boxes that we have packed up. People coming off the trains often stop here to grab a snack for their journey or to take something home for their kids. We do not use any big fancy machines. It is mostly just us working with large iron pans and our own hands. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy during the day because so many people are walking in and out, but we try to tidy up when there is a quiet moment. We are not the type of people to do much advertising. We just put our products out and let the taste speak for itself. We have many regular customers from the neighborhood who have been buying from us for a long time. They know exactly what they want before they even walk in. We keep our prices as fair as we can. It is just a simple, hardworking shop in a very busy part of the city. We enjoy the daily rush.
