Shree Hardware & Paints

Shree Hardware & Paints is tucked away in the Roop Bhawan Complex on Keshavpura Rangbari Road. It’s a busy building with a lot of different offices and shops. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find parking, but they usually manage. Our shop is packed with all sorts of hardware items. We have brushes, rollers, and big cans of paint taking up most of the floor space. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but it works for what we do. People from the nearby residential areas come in for small things, like a new lock or a specific screwdriver. We have a lot of regulars who live just a few blocks away. It’s nice because we get to hear all the local news while we are pulling items off the shelves. The summers get really hot in the complex, so we usually have a big fan blowing right at the counter. We don't do much fancy display stuff. We just put the stock where it fits. Sometimes the boxes are stacked so high you can’t see the back wall. It’s a bit of a maze, but it makes the day interesting. We try to stay open until late evening because that is when most people realize they forgot to buy something they needed for a project at home. It’s a good way to spend the day, talking to neighbors and keeping the shop running as best as we can.
