Shiv Agarwal Mishthan Bhandar

We have been running Shiv Agarwal Mishthan Bhandar on Station Road for a long time now. It is a very busy area because of the trains, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about outside our door. We start our work very early, usually when it is still dark, so we can get the milk boiling and the sweets ready for the morning rush. It is not an easy job because the kitchen gets very hot and we are on our feet all day long. The shop itself is quite small and we have a lot of trays piled up with different things we have made. We don't use any fancy machines or anything like that. Most of the work is done by hand, just like how it was done when we first opened. You won't find any big posters or loud music here. We just put the food in the glass cases and wait for people to come in. Many of our customers are regulars who live nearby, but we also get a lot of travelers who are just passing through the station. They stop in for a quick snack or to buy a box of something to take back to their families. Sometimes we run out of things before the day is over, but that is just how it goes. We try to keep everything clean and simple. It is just an honest local business and we are happy to be here on Station Road.
