Sharma Stone

Sharma Stone is located at No. 108- A- R. K. Puram. It’s a pretty standard setup for a stone yard. We have been here for a good while. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud too early in the morning. We handle different kinds of stones for houses and small projects. My brother and I usually run the daily stuff. It’s a lot of lifting and moving slabs from one side to the other. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. Most of our talks with customers happen right out in the yard next to the material. It feels more natural that way. You can see exactly what you’re getting without any filters. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit low and we have to wait for new shipments, but we usually have something that works. R. K. Puram is a good community and we’ve made a lot of friends here over the years. People know if they need a piece of stone for a repair or a new floor, they can just walk over. We keep it simple. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain English about what the stone looks like and how much it weighs. It’s a steady life and we’re glad to be a part of the local area. We just open up and see what the day brings.
