Sharma Institute

Talwandi is where we are located, and Sharma Institute has been part of this area for a good while. It is just a simple place where students come to get through their lessons. We have a few rooms set up with desks and chairs. Nothing fancy at all. Usually, it gets quite busy in the evenings after the regular school day is over. Kids come in with their heavy bags and we sit down to go over the books. It is a quiet enough neighborhood most of the time. We spend hours just working through different problems on the board. Sometimes the tea man comes by the door. We do not have a huge staff or any corporate management. It is just us here trying to help the students with their studies. Talwandi feels like a good spot for this kind of work. We have a regular routine now. Some students stay for an hour, while others stay much longer if they are struggling. We see the same faces every week and it is nice to see them get better at their subjects. We do not do big advertisements. People around here just know where we are. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many papers and books everywhere, it always looks a bit lived-in. We do not make any huge promises. We just open the doors, the students arrive, and we get to work. It is a straightforward life here in Talwandi for us.
