We are right across from the Mahatma Gandhi School in the Rampura Bazar area. Being near a school means we see a lot of kids and parents walking by every morning and afternoon. The bazar is always full of life and noise which we have grown used to over the years. We mostly focus on watches here. If someone has a watch that isn't ticking right or needs a glass replaced they bring it to us. It is a small shop tucked into the row of buildings but we have our regular customers who have been coming for ages. Sometimes we just sit and chat with people who stop by while they are waiting for their kids. Rampura Bazar is a great place to be because everything you need is just a short walk away. We keep our display cases full and try to have a bit of variety for whoever walks in. It is not a corporate store. It is just our little spot where we do our daily work. We handle the repairs ourselves right there at the small bench in the corner. You can usually find us there with a magnifying glass or a small screwdriver in hand. It is simple work but it keeps us busy and we like the rhythm of the bazar. We open up when the shops around us start pulling up their shutters and we stay until the school activities are all finished for the day.
