Sdccl , Jamnagar(Aditya Birla Group)

Out here in Village Undwa, things move at their own pace. We are Sdccl, part of the Jamnagar operations under the Aditya Birla Group, but our actual spot is in the Ramganjmandi Tehsil. Kota is the main district nearby, though we are a bit of a drive away in Rajasthan. It’s a rural setting, so there’s a lot of dust and open space around the site. We handle the heavy stuff here. Being in post 326519 means we are quite integrated with the local village life. People from around here work with us. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep it simple on the ground level. The heat in Rajasthan can be a real challenge during the summer months. You just have to drink a lot of water and keep going. We don’t really do fancy meetings; it’s mostly just getting the work done in the yard or at the plant. It’s a practical kind of life. Being tied to a big group means there’s always something happening, but for us, it’s just about the daily routine in Undwa. We see the trucks coming and going all day long. It's a steady life out here in the district. We just focus on our corner of the map and make sure things stay on track. It gets quiet at night, which is a nice change.
