Sanu General And Fancy Store

Our shop, Sanu General and Fancy Store, is situated in Vigyan Nagar, Sector B, right across from Mukti Dham. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Kota. We call it a "fancy" store because we carry more than just basic food items. We have some gifts, small toys, bangles, and cosmetic items alongside the usual household goods. It’s a bit of a mix, which makes the shop interesting to browse. The space is filled with all sorts of colorful things. Because we are near a major landmark, we get a lot of people passing by who aren't from the immediate neighborhood. It keeps us on our feet. The Rajasthan heat can be tough, so we have a couple of fans going all day to keep things bearable. I’ve lived in Kota all my life and opening this shop was a way to stay connected to the community. We aren't a big chain store. When you come here, you're talking to the owner directly. Sometimes the stock is a bit disorganized because we get so many different types of items in small quantities. It takes a lot of time to keep track of everything from hairpins to flour bags. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just put our items on display and let people choose what they want. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and supports my family.
