Sangam Kirana Store

Sangam Kirana Store is located right by the Bus Stand Road in Ramganj Mandi. Being so close to the bus stand means it’s always a bit noisy and there’s always someone running to catch a ride. We get a lot of people coming in for basic groceries. I sell things like loose flour, pulses, spices, and sugar. It’s the kind of place where people come for their weekly supplies. I don’t use any of those modern computer systems to track everything, I just know what’s on the shelves by looking at them. The shop has been here for years, and most of my customers are regulars who live nearby or work at the shops down the street. Ramganj Mandi is a busy place, and the Bus Stand Road is probably one of the busiest parts. When a bus pulls in, I usually get a few people wanting cigarettes or water or a packet of biscuits for their journey. It keeps me busy. The store is packed tight with bags and boxes. There isn't much room to walk around, but we manage. I start early and close late because that’s when the buses are running. It’s just me and the goods. I don’t spend much on making the place look pretty, I just make sure the staples are in stock. That’s about it for us. We just try to make sure that if someone needs lentils or salt, they can find it here without any fuss.
