We have been here in Nayapura for quite some time now, right near Chaman Hotel. It is a good spot because everyone knows the hotel, so it makes it easy to tell people where to find us. The shop is not very big, just enough space for the counters and the stools where we sit to work. Most days are pretty much the same. People drop by with watches that have stopped ticking or need a new glass because they dropped them. We keep a lot of different straps and cells in stock because you never know what someone might need. It gets a bit crowded in here when more than two people walk in at once, but we manage. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the regulars who pass by. Nayapura is a busy area, especially in the evenings when people are out getting food. We stay open pretty late most days. The work requires a lot of patience and steady hands, which can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours. We have seen all kinds of watches over the years, some very old and some brand new ones that people don't know how to set. It is just a local business, nothing too special, but we take care of the things people bring to us. We’ve had the same sign out front for ages and people seem to recognize it. It’s a quiet life fixing things. We don't really use computers for our work, just our hands and the old tools that have lasted us through the years.
