S R K International is located at Basant Vihar 64 in Rawatbhata. Even though the name sounds like a big corporation, we are actually a very small team. Our office is set up in a residential neighborhood, so it is a lot quieter than being in a big industrial park. We handle different types of goods and help people with their shipping and logistics needs. Most of my day is spent sitting at a desk and talking on the phone. I started this business in a small room and it has just stayed a local operation over the years. There are usually stacks of papers on every table and the kettle is always hot for tea. We do not have a big sign on the street, just the number 64 on our front gate. Most of the people we work with are regulars who have had our number for a long time. They just call us up when they need something sourced or moved to another city. It involves a lot of coordination and sometimes things do not go as planned. I often have to stay late to make sure a shipment arrived where it was supposed to. My neighbors are usually out on their porches, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We like keeping things small and simple here in Rawatbhata.
