Rishabh Hardwares is one of those shops in Shopping Centre 285 that feels like it’s been there forever. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of metal and wood, which is pretty much what you would expect. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, and we use a rickety old ladder to reach the stuff at the top. It’s a bit of a maze inside, with bins full of bolts, screws, and all sorts of small parts that people need for their home projects. We don't have a computer system for tracking every single item; instead, we mostly rely on memory and a few handwritten notes pinned to the wall. The floor is made of old tiles that are chipped in the corners, and the front door has a bell that rings every time someone enters. It’s not a quiet place, as there is always the sound of people talking or the clinking of metal items being sorted. We spend a lot of time helping folks find that one specific size of washer or nut that they can't find anywhere else. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We aren't interested in making it look modern or high-tech. It’s just a hardware shop where you can get what you need without any fuss or unnecessary conversation.
