Rise Kirana Store

We are located at number 26 in Laxmi Nagar, which is part of the Nayapura area. This is a residential neighborhood, so most of the people who come to our shop are our neighbors who live just down the street. Rise Kirana Store is a place where we keep all the basic stuff like dal, rice, sugar, and oils. The shop is quite small, and the bags of grains take up a lot of the floor space. You have to watch your step when you walk in. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I know most of the families who buy from us. Sometimes they come in just to chat about the local news or the weather while I weigh out their pulses. The kids from the nearby houses come in for small candies or pens for school. We keep those in glass jars on the front counter so they can see them easily. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except for when the vegetable sellers pass by with their carts. We don't have fancy lights or a computer for billing. I just write everything down in a thick red book. It works fine for us. Sometimes we run out of something and I have to go to the main market to get more stock on my scooter. That’s just how we run things here in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a simple shop for simple needs and we try to keep things honest for everyone who visits.
