Rana Stone Company

We’ve been at New Jawahar Nagar for a while now. Rana Stone Company is just us doing what we know about rocks and slabs. My cousin and I started out small at B-32 and then we took over the spot next door at 33. It’s a bit dusty here because of the cutting, but that’s how it goes. People come by when they are fixing up their kitchens or putting in a new floor. We have different types of stone sitting around the yard. Most days it's just us moving things around and talking to contractors who need a specific size. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay to unload. It isn't fancy. We don't have a big showroom with lights. Just the warehouse and the office where the fan squeaks. We know the neighbors around here pretty well. If you walk past B-32, you'll see the stacks of granite leaning against the wall. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up. We just handle the orders as they come in. If someone needs a piece of marble, we go look for it. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years but we’re still here at the same spot in the middle of everything.
