Pandit Kota Stone & Marble

You’ll find us right opposite the Emmanuel Mission School in Ram Ganj Mandi. Actually, our gate is pretty much directly across from the school entrance, so we hear the kids playing and the school bells ringing all day long. Ram Ganj Mandi is the heart of Kota stone, so there is no shortage of dust and heavy machinery around here. We’ve got a mix of Kota stone and marble in our yard. It’s a busy spot, and we’re usually hopping between helping customers and managing the guys who are loading the trucks. The stone here is heavy and takes some real muscle to move around. We don't have any fancy brochures or a website that looks like a movie. It’s just us in our work clothes, often with mud on our boots if it’s been raining lately. We just talk to people plainly about what they need for their floors or yards. It gets really loud when the school lets out and the buses are everywhere, but we just work around it. Some days are just about sorting through the different sizes and colors to make sure we know exactly what’s in stock. We’ve been at this location for a good while, so most people in the neighborhood know us. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like being right here in the middle of the action near the school. We just do our work and go home.
