Rajasthan Medical And General Store is right at the Chhawani Chouraha, which is one of the busiest spots around. Since we are at a crossroads, there’s never a quiet moment. We have shelves filled with medicines and all kinds of general goods like soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. The shop is small and every bit of wall space is used for something. Sometimes it feels like we’re playing a game of Tetris just to fit new stock in. We see a lot of people who are just passing through the intersection and need something quick. It’s a bit of a rush in the mornings and evenings when people are going to or coming from work. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, boxes can pile up on the floor for a while. We don't have a fancy cooling system, just a basic fan that struggles in the heat. There’s a lot of dust from the road, so we’re always wiping down the glass counters.
