Our factory is situated at D 28 in the IPIA area. It is a typical industrial setup with machines running most of the time and the sound of metal hitting metal in the background. We don't really have a fancy front office with air conditioning. Most of us are out on the floor making sure the production line doesn't get jammed up. It can get pretty loud, so we usually have to use hand signals to tell someone to bring more material over. We make various products here, and there is always a lot of plastic or metal scrap that needs to be cleared away at the end of the day. The industrial park is a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up, so we are constantly sweeping the entrance. My desk is covered in blueprints and old coffee mugs, and that is just how I like it. We have a small team of workers who have stayed with us for a long time, so we all know how to fix the machines when they act up. We don't do much marketing or anything like that because we mostly deal with other businesses who already know our location. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long when we have a big order to finish, but it feels good to see the crates getting loaded onto the trucks at the end of the week. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
