Pwd Nh Dn. Jhalawar

The Pwd Nh Division for Jhalawar is located at Umrao Bhawan. We are right on Dhanmandi Road in the Bara Bazar area of Jhalawar. It is a very busy part of the city, especially during the market hours. Our office is tucked into the building there. We focus on the National Highway division work from this spot. Being in Bara Bazar means there is always something going on outside our windows. The building itself, Umrao Bhawan, is a well-known local landmark for people in Jhalawar. We’ve got our maps and project files spread out across the rooms. It’s a typical working environment for a Pwd branch. We don't have air conditioning in every room, so it gets a bit warm during the summer months. The staff just uses the ceiling fans and keeps working. We handle the local highway issues and coordinate with the contractors from this base. It’s a hands-on type of office.
