Punjab Ayurved College And Hospital is located quite a bit out of the main way at 43mmk Hanumangarh. You have to head through Morjandkhari and go via Lalgarhjattan to get here. It is a long name for a place that feels very grounded in the local soil. We have both a college for students and a hospital for patients. Everything here is based on Ayurveda. The air usually smells like dried herbs and different oils we use for treatments. It is a large property, but it is not new by any means. There are always students running around between classes, which keeps the place feeling alive. The hospital side is usually full of people from the surrounding villages. They come here because they prefer the traditional ways of healing. The building has wide corridors that stay relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the Rajasthan plains. We don't have a lot of modern glass and steel here; it’s mostly old brick and plaster. The garden where we grow some of the medicinal plants is a bit overgrown, but it serves its purpose. Managing a place this size in a rural area has its challenges, like getting supplies delivered on time or keeping the electricity steady. But it’s a good life out here, teaching the next generation and helping the local folks. It feels right to be doing this work in a place where people really need the care and the students are eager to learn the old ways.
