Punav Slate & Stones

We are located at D 229 (a) on Road No 5 in Kota. Most people around here know the place because it is near Kalori Brake. It is a busy part of town with a lot of noise from the trucks going by. We handle a lot of slate and different kinds of stones. It is not an easy job because the slabs are heavy and you have to be careful not to break them. The yard is open to the sky so we are always at the mercy of the weather. When it rains, the stones look one way, and when the sun is beating down, they look another. We spend most of our mornings moving things around to make space for new deliveries. People come in looking for something for their floors or walls and we just show them what we have on the lot. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. There is just a small desk and some chairs where we sit and talk to folks. Sometimes we have tea while looking at the stone piles. It gets very dusty here, especially when the wind picks up. You can see the dust on everything, including our clothes. We have been doing this for a while now and we know the stones pretty well. It is just honest work. If you are looking for us, just head down Road No 5 and you will find us easily enough near the brake shop.
