If you find yourself on Subzi Mandi Road near Mohan Talkies, you’ll find us easily enough. Priceless Metals is right in the thick of the market chaos. Every morning starts with the sound of vegetable sellers shouting and the smell of fresh produce. We open up the shutters early because that’s when the most happens. The building is old, and you can see the history in the brickwork and the heavy wooden doors. Inside, we deal with all sorts of metal pieces. It’s a lot of weighing and sorting. The scales we use are old but they are very accurate. We have a lot of regulars who stop by just to chat for a bit while they’re doing their market shopping. It’s a friendly spot, even if it’s a bit cramped with all the inventory. We don't have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that click as they spin. In the afternoons, when the sun hits the street, it gets a bit sleepy, and we catch up on the paperwork. There’s a small tea shop two doors down that brings us chai in glass cups twice a day. It’s a simple way of life here. We don’t need anything fancy to get the job done. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a truck, and we just wait it out. It's just part of being in this neighborhood for so many years.
