Prahlaad Kirana Store

My name is Prahlaad and I run this kirana store on DCM Main Road. We are situated right at the Govind Nagar Choaraha, which is a pretty well-known spot in Kota. Being at a crossroads means we see a lot of people every day. Some are just passing through, while others are regulars from the nearby houses. Prahlaad Kirana Store isn't anything elaborate. It’s a typical corner shop where we keep flour, oil, sugar, and all those basic things you need for cooking. I try to keep the stock fresh, but it's a constant job of checking dates and ordering more. The shop can get a bit messy during the day when we are unpacking boxes, but we try to keep it organized enough for customers to find things. The DCM Road area is always noisy with trucks and bikes, so it’s never quiet here. We don’t have a website or fancy posters. Most people just know us by word of mouth or they see us when they stop at the intersection. I’ve been working here for years and it’s become a second home for me. We just focus on serving the locals and making sure they have their daily supplies. It’s just an honest little shop in a busy part of Kota. We do our best to keep things moving and help everyone out who stops by.
