About Pooja Arts Screen Printers – Fashion & Trends in Kota
Pooja Arts Screen Printers is right over by Kota Junction on Lal Burj Road. Being near the junction means there is always the sound of trains and a lot of movement in the area. Our workspace is usually covered in a bit of ink and there are screens leaning against the walls in various stages of being used. It is a hands-on kind of job, so our clothes often get stained and the smell of the printing chemicals is pretty strong throughout the day. We have big tables where we lay out the materials to be printed. The light from the front door is usually enough to see by, though we have some overhead lamps for the darker corners. Lal Burj Road is a busy spot, so we see a lot of people passing by all day. We spend most of our time pulling the squeegees over the screens and hanging things up to dry. It can get quite hot in the summer because the fans don't do much against the heat from the street and the work we are doing. We keep a stack of old newspapers around to help with the cleanup. There isn't much order to the place, but we know where everything is kept. It is a small operation, and we just focus on getting the prints done one by one as they come in. It is hard work but it keeps us busy from morning till night.
