Kota Lubricants

Being located in the New Motor Market means that things are almost always loud around here. There is constantly someone revving up a truck engine or moving heavy parts across the pavement. Kota Lubricants is right in the thick of all that noise. We spend our work days surrounded by large drums and various cans of oil. It can be greasy work sometimes, but that is just part of the job. The shop itself is not much to look at. It is mostly just rows of shelves and that distinct smell of motor oil that never really goes away. We deal with people who really know their machines inside and out. They come in, tell us what they are looking for, and we go find it in the back for them. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of oil, and we just have to tell them to try again tomorrow. That is just how the business goes. We do not bother with any fancy displays or bright lights. The floor is usually a bit stained from spills, but it works for what we need. Most of our morning is spent unloading delivery trucks or helping a local mechanic who is in a rush to finish a repair. You eventually get used to the dust and the constant sounds of the market. We just grab a tea from the stall and start moving things.
