Nitin Stone

Our yard and office are at Plot No-203 in Vidyut Nagar, right on Rain Road in Punadi Bundi. Nitin Stone is what we call the business. Since we deal with stone, the place is often a bit dusty and there’s usually the sound of machinery or heavy trucks moving around nearby. It’s a very practical environment. We have a small office on the plot where we handle the billing and the paperwork. It’s mostly just a desk with a lot of heavy paperweights because the wind can blow through the door when it's left open. We spend a lot of time outside checking the materials and talking to the drivers who come in. Rain Road can get pretty muddy when it pours, but we just deal with it and keep working. We aren't the type to wear suits or have polished meetings in fancy rooms. We’re usually in work clothes and boots. The routine is the same most days—unloading, measuring, and loading again. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Vidyut Nagar is a busy area for this kind of trade, so we’re in good company. We’ve been at this plot for a while and have everything set up just how we like it. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s our way of doing things here.
